Directions: Located 12 miles west of downtown Coos Bay on Cape Arago Highway. Just Past 'Sunset Bay' on the way to 'Shore Acres' state park.
Take Newmark Avenue (first stoplight south of the Mill Casino on Highway 101). Travel west to the end of Newmark and follow signs to Charleston, Sunset Bay, state parks & beaches. You will come to a bridge at the charleston Boat basin, go over the bridge and straight ahead 3 miles to Sunset Bay State Park. Just past Sunset Bay, you will see our sign on the left.
(There is also additional signage from downtown Coos Bay or downtown North Bend which will direct you towards charleston Recreation Area, Sunset Bay, State Parks and Beaches.)
